DESCRIPTION 1. To secure a more binding Nordic ownership from our funders by
Joined Nordic support of the College through the Nordic Council, Nordic Council of Minister.
Maintaining support from Norway Sweden and the islands in the region. This includes retaining Ålandic state contributions following new elections.
Working towards relevant authorities in Denmark and Finland to raise their contributions towards a level comparable to those of Sweden.
2. To consolidate and extend our reach and impact
2.1 Strengthen Red Cross ties and the Red Cross dimension of our education.
2.2 To highlight Leirskule and Haugland Rehabilitation work as a dimension of our Red Cross engagement
2.3 To continually evaluate the activities within Red Cross Diploma and strengthen it as a recognized certificate integral to our Extra Academic program.
2.4 Nurture activities and contacts with organizations involved with work and values relating to our pillars: e.g. Fredskorpset, Bergum Mottak, Rafto.
2.5 Consolidate projects arising from staff, student and alumni initiatives, relating to our pillars, e.g the Volunteer Program, DROP; SAFUGE
2.6 Selection: maintain and increase student intake from poor countries in line with UWC International priorities
2.7 Strengthen ties with organizations used for particular categories of students: e.g. SOS Villages; CDPF
2.8 Maintain and increase intake of disabled students.
2.9 Establish a new Visitor's Centre, with an environmental dimension
2.10 Work towards UWC international Growth Aim by supporting establishment of a UWC in China. This involvement is continually to be a dimension of Norwegian China policy.
2.11 Strengthen the Chinese dimension on Campus, if possible through a Confucius Institute.
2.12 To work together with UWC International and National Committees to engage alumni as active supporters of the movement.

1.2 To establish ties with Nordic Universities that makes this a realistic avenue for further studies for some of our students from outside of the Nordic Region.

To generate substantial donation for a new visitor’s centre with an environmental dimension at Miklagard, following cooperation with UWC Norway for the 50th anniversary for the movement in 2012.
